Elious received his B.S.-M.S. in chemistry in 2021, all from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research(IISER), Bhopal. There he worked primarily with Prof. Varadharajan Srinivasan (Dept. of Chemistry) in the development of an open source python based Decoherence corrected Surface-Hopping code. He has earlier performed work under the supervision of Prof. Nirmal Ganguli (Dept. of Physics, IISER Bhopal) in learning diagonalisation schemes for 1D systems. He has also worked with Prof. Ayan Datta (IACS Kolkata) to computationally explore the water stability of lead-halide perovskites.

His current interests in the Huo group are in simulation of linear and non-linear spectroscopy of different molecular and Polaritonic systems using different quantum dynamics approaches.
