Arkajit received his B.Sc and M.Sc degree from Visva-Bharati University in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Arkajit has some previous research experiences. In the summer of 2013 and 2014 he worked as a summer research intern at the National Chemical Laboratory, India on the breakdown of Stokes-Einstein relation and on the anomalous diffusion of ions in water under the supervision of Dr. Sarika Maitra Bhattacharyya. During his undergraduate,  he developed various online applications for chemistry. During his Master’s at Visva-Bharati he worked on the effect of noise on the optical properties of quantum dots under the supervision of Dr.Manas Ghosh.

At the Huo Group, he has been working on developing quantum dynamics propagation schemes and investigating new chemical reactivities in polariton photochemistry as well as proton coupled electron transfer reactions.
