Santanu completed his B.Sc. in Chemistry in 2018 from the University of Calcutta, India. Upon completing his undergrad, he went to Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur for his Masters in Chemistry. During this period, he worked on predicting IR and Raman Spectra theoretically using Machine Learning under professor Amalendu Chandra. After his masters was over on 2020, he continued to work on this project as a research associate for a more couple of years.
In 2022, he joined Huo Group as a Grad student. Currently he is working on quantum dynamics in periodic systems inside a cavity in reciprocal space.
